Our 3-pound honey bee packages are an excellent choice for starting a new colony or replacing winter losses. Each package contains approximately 10,000–12,000 healthy worker bees from our Carniolan × Italian cross stock, selected for their gentle temperament, strong spring buildup, and excellent honey production.

Each package includes:

• Approximately 3 pounds of healthy worker bees
• One young, mated, laying queen in a protected queen cage
• A feeder can to sustain the bees during transport

These bees are ideal for installing into new hive equipment and quickly establishing a productive colony. Our Carniolan × Italian cross combines the best qualities of both strains, offering calm behavior, efficient foraging, strong brood production, and good overwintering performance.
